DISC’s Drug Services - provide a range of community based services for substance misusers. Our service in Sunderland provides a unique Structure Day Care program- Back 2 You which aims to focus on clients’ recovery from alcohol misuse, the programme is developed around the Human Givens emotional needs assessment tool, providing group work and one to one coaching and support.
You will provide a range of flexible and creative programmes to enable people to address their Alcohol use and offending behaviour as part of the Integrated Offender Management system.
Working as part of a dynamic and well motivated team, you will work closely with some of the key agencies across Sunderland to allow you to help people to resolve the wide range of issues linked to Alcohol use - homelessness, family conflict, poverty, self esteem, health and offending.
Due to the nature of the role you will work flexibly, which will include some evening and weekend work.
