DISC Children, Young People and Families SDU provide a range of specialist services which support adults, children and young people in a variety of community settings. V provides a range of volunteering opportunities which enable young people to build on their skills and interests whilst giving back their time to their community. Generation Xchange supports intergenerational volunteer activities with children, young and older people through a District wide multi-agency partnership. You may be looking to build your experience of working with children and young people, enhance your skills and knowledge of finding and developing volunteering opportunities, work within a flexible and supportive environment, which will provide you with invaluable experience which will give your career a head start.

· offer advice and guidance to young people
· identify and work with current volunteering opportunities
· actively develop and support youth led and intergenerational volunteering activities
· recognise and support the achievements of people involved in accredited volunteering
