I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do when I left university except for one thing. I wanted to work with people. My job as an administrator for DISC’s new Integrated Offender Management programme in Leeds is perfect. I can learn on the job, build up my skills and understanding and look at moving up into project management when I’m ready and opportunities come up. I got my first job as a temp for DISC in Mabgate Mill in Leeds through Office Angels.

Before that I did a masters degree in human resource management course and an undergraduate degree in international development. I grew up in Botswana and have always wanted to make life better for people. I decided to stay at DISC and apply for a permanent job because it’s fantastic place to work. It’s a really chilled environment. The staff are good people to be around. Everyone is helpful and here to help people – genuinely.
